Welcome to my art site. Like many artists, I always have several irons in the fire. Many of the images here are sketches, but I've included them to show the sort of things I enjoy working on.

SalesI am assembling a collection of California landscapes and related historical writings, many especially having to do with the Lincoln Highway. I am holding on to the originals for what I hope will be a book. Limited edition giclee prints of some of this series of paintings will be available soon. If you are interested in a print of a particular painting or paintings, please let me know. Some works not related to the highway will soon be available in giclee or as originals. See the gallery sections for more information.
CommissionsAs my schedule permits, I may be available for commissioned paintings, either plein air or from photographs. Most of my paintings are landscapes, but I sometimes like to include people or animals in an overall view. Please e-mail me for rates and more information.
About Kell BriganI've lived in New York, Colorado and Washington State, but have lived most of the past thirty years in California. My day job is in Northern California, but I split my free time between vacations all over the west, tours of the Lincoln Highway, and trips to the Mojave, where I hope to retire. I've worn many hats over the years, and have degrees from CSU Sacramento and American River College in English and Computer Science. I've been employed as an editor and web developer for various government agencies for much of my career. I began painting regularly about five years ago, although I have been an art hobbiest all of my life. I am grateful for the adventures of painting and, now, still and video photography, since all allow me to combine my love of art and imagery with my enjoyment of history, research and the outdoors.
